What makes it special
What makes it special
- Latex-free – soft foam that's kind to sensitive skin.
- Three shapes in one – a flat bevelled edge for larger areas, rounded sides for cheeks and forehead, and a precision tip for the under-eye area and around the nose.
- Less product wasted – the fine-pore surface absorbs very little, so your foundation ends up on your skin, not inside the sponge.
- Damp or dry – use it damp and it expands for a natural, dewy finish; use it dry for fuller coverage.
- Stain-hiding black – makeup marks don't show, so your sponge looks fresh for longer.
Description
The LUMIMI Makeup Sponge is the everyday tool that makes foundation, concealer and cushion look natural and even. Its soft, bouncy, latex-free foam presses product into the skin as you tap – no streaks, no brush marks and none of that heavy, mask-like look.
It's made to pair with LUMIMI colour-changing foundation: a damp sponge spreads the pigments evenly so they blend seamlessly into your skin tone.
With this sponge, you can:
- Blend liquid and cream makeup evenly
- Get a natural, second-skin finish
- Work precisely around the eyes, nose and chin
- Use less product
- Get ready in no time, every day ;)
Works with foundation, concealer, cushion, cream blush and bronzer. Washable and reusable.
How to use
Run the sponge under water until it expands, then squeeze out the excess – it should feel damp, not wet. Dot the product onto your face or onto the sponge, then press it into the skin with light tapping motions. Use the tip for the under-eye area and around the nose. For fuller coverage, use the sponge dry.
Care
After each use, wash the sponge in warm water with soap or a gentle cleanser until the water runs clear. Squeeze it out and leave it to dry somewhere airy – not in a closed case. We recommend replacing it every 2–3 months, or sooner if it starts to tear.

Frequently asked questions
Should I use the sponge damp or dry?
Damp, most of the time. A damp sponge expands, absorbs less product and gives a natural, radiant finish. Use it dry when you want fuller coverage or to press in loose powder.
Does it work with LUMIMI colour-changing foundation?
Yes – that's exactly what it was made for. Tapping with a damp sponge spreads the pigments evenly so they blend into your skin tone, while the finish stays light and natural.
Which products can I use it with?
Any liquid or cream product: foundation, concealer, cushion, cream blush, bronzer or SPF. Used dry, it's also great for pressing in loose powder.
Is the sponge suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. It's latex-free and made from soft, gentle foam, so it's a good choice for sensitive skin.
How do I clean the sponge?
After each use, wash it in warm, soapy water or with a gentle cleanser until the water runs clear. Squeeze it out and leave it to dry somewhere airy. Never store it damp in a closed case.
How often should I replace the sponge?
We recommend a fresh sponge every 2–3 months, or sooner if it starts to tear or no longer springs back into shape.
Why is the sponge black?
Makeup marks don't show on black, so it looks fresh for longer. It still needs regular washing, like any other sponge.
